This is an apples and oranges comparision - evolution, as the name so well describes - is about the changes that have occured, not about the origin of life itself.

The work to understand how life might have originated is very interesting, and may help us understand a great deal about biology. It will always be a speculation, though - and I don't have any problems with that. It's simply not important to me or my spiritual path to understand fully how life began or how the universe originated. My interest is in fully understanding and finding peace in my life - how the universe occured, or what happens after I die are diversions that, while interesting, are not going to help me be within truth.
