Well, at least the introduction of my journal pages is finished and published. or Elsa Cloud will be where longer, more personal entries will be found. This will be where the rants, the explorations of deeper feelings, past journal entries transcribed, the philosophical essays, and personal events can be found.

The name "or Elsa Cloud" comes from a story I read nearly 10 years ago, but have remembered because of its resonnance for me. It's about the relationship of a mother and daughter - the daughter, Victoria, once says "I'd like to be the sea or else a cloud... ahh, Elsa Cloud" - just in that phrase, I felt a kindred spirit. The mother writes the story, and despite her efforts to paint herself the heroine, my sympathies and understanding were far more with the daughter.

The journal itself is about my journey to find my true voice - something I'm still working on. It's tucked in a quiet corner of my site, yet still public, since I wonder if a voice is to be true, can it be totally private? Do I leave myself vulnerable doing this? Sure - but I do believe that vulnerablity has potential for very real strength. Time will tell...
