Chris' girlfriend's cat had kittens - again! - and the all black female is too cute for words. Her name is Blues, and at 7 weeks is ready to come home with me. :)
The situation with Isis is now resolved, as well. Paco was going to take her back (after nearly 2 months, instead of the 3 weeks I was supposed to be just looking after her). I had given him a list of demands that he had to fullfil before he could take her - mainly, getting all the supplies she needs and paying me back for her vet bill (well, just for the vaccinations). Mainly, I wanted to see that he was committed to taking proper care of her - the last thing I wanted to find out was that he had run out of money, and just put her outside to fend for herself.
Instead of taking Isis back, I proposed to him that he should wait until he is ready, then either adopt one of Michelle's new kittens or if it takes longer, we would find him a cat. I've gotten attached to Isis, and she loves us. He agreed on that as a fair arrangement. Now he doesn't have to worry about finding money to give me for Isis' vet bills, and I don't have to worry everyday if this will be the day he comes to take her away.
Ahhh... happiness. :)
