I didn't know that this was a quote before! I was thinking about the first part of that quote, so when I logged in to write about it, I realized that I wasn't sure how the saying went. I've seen it written in a variety of different ways. I just typed in "one door closes" in yahoo, and up popped the page above.

Lo and behold, the quote appeared, and reflected what I had been considering about it - especially since there have been times when a door closed in my life and I couldn't see anything but the closed door.
