I really like this concise summary of the term Buddha Nature. The paradigm of a "soul" is one that is crucial for any kind of understanding between those who believe in a soul and those of us who do not. I think it's the pivotal point around which all understanding of different faith traditions revolves. There's no point in defining anything else, in my way of thinking, until this concept is understood by the individuals talking.
