This morning on CNN - information from the White House to Congress will be limited because someone leaked information about the "100% likelihood" of retaliatory terrorist strikes after the bombing of Afghanistan. The reason? That information could be very dangerous in the "wrong hands" - excuse me?? The hands that information needs to be in is the American people so that we can all take the measures we feel is needed for ourselves and families. It was the only ethical, responsible thing a person with that information could do to be sure it was released.
Having lived through what I consider a coup d'etat with the presidential "appointment", now to see the beginnings of a dictatorship is chilling. For those who snif at the idea that these things can happen here should consider that freedom is fragile and needs guarding - more important guarding than x-raying a suitcase in my way of thinking.
