Lots of interesting developments in the news - I have a gut feeling that when all the facts come to light, we're going to be deeply shocked; maybe more shocked than the events that started all this in motion. W makes sure that his Gubenatorial papers, his father's papers and his will be kept secret (what do they have to hide?); we start a war on terrorism that turns out to be a war to destroy the Taliban (what happened to finding who was responsible for Sept 11th?); Ashcroft and W want secret military tribunals to prosecute terrorists (what might the testimony reveal?); there's talk of expanding our "war" to go after Saadam Husien (anyone following the oil money here?); Rumsfeld thinks we should just kill Osama Bin Laden if he is found (any secrets they don't want out?)... why doesn't any of this add up? I'm already shocked by the implications.
