Back from Ft. Lauderdale... nice conference... beautiful beach! Toured around to see the houses around the marinas in their ice cream colors, many windows, and wrap-around porches and piers - very pretty. My favorites were the mission styles - from soft tan to deep ocher all with terra cotta tile roofs - surrounded by palms and sea grape plants.

The clouds at the shore are my favorite - changable and turbulent at times. From tall piles of white calliflower to the softest feather wisps high up in the blue. The colors are wonderful to explore with the eye - layers and strata of color from the zennith of the sky to the froth of the waves on the sand. The sea is so complex - such a beautiful play of color and light.

Seeing the full moon rise over the ocean was great - a sharp sliver of light becomes visable, and the moon softly rises to cast a path of light on the water. I sat simply gazing at the scene before me.... so many feelings - such a lovely reminder of impermenence - such a lovely time of mindfullness.
