Hosting a chat room discussion on spirituality can be a really weird experience. Last night, while hosting in #Spirituality-Buddhism on Talkcity, it seemed that everyone there either wanted to convert we heathen Buddhists to Christianity or to argue politics!

I tried to keep the discussion on topic - "Tolerance" seemed like the appropriate topic of the day! - but it wasn't a very heart-warming evening to say the least.

Good practice, though, for patience, tolerance, and gentle guidence - not letting the trouble makers run rough shod over the group that actually wanted to discuss but also allowing for some leeway to, hopefuly, show good examples of tolerance in action.
