I'm taking a break from working on the content of my webpage. I'm so happy with the way it's turning out! This has been a seed in the back of my mind for some time now - it's amazing that it's finally coming together. It's certainly not about other people seeing it, per se, but it's really fun to dig out some of my old writings, quotes that I love, etc. and find a place to put them all. With a chance to use my creativity a bit as well.
I read an article on some Fox online news thing that was critical of web journaling - I wasn't at all suprized. The media reminds me of the popular kids in school who made it their job to ridicule anything that was different - especially if it's creative. The media loves to fawn over artists and actors, but don't let a normal person try anything creative! That just wouldn't do! ::hand on hip, wagging finger::
The fun part is just taking a casual stroll around the web to find all sorts of spectacularly creative people, with lots of things to say. Too bad some folks are so busy being hip and cynical to enjoy. ;)
