When the Vidallia onions are really really good I eat them like there's no tomorrow. My current favorite is to bake them with butter and some herbs - such a good side dish. Really good is to mix the baked onion in with baked potato and chop up some fresh herbs with that. MMmmmmmm...... that's what's baking right now, and my mouth is watering just smelling it!
