I saw this story on the news and was so glad that folks are thinking of and trying to help Companion Animals of those killed in the WTC attack. Even if some might be critical of efforts on behalf of a pet, I would hope that most people realize how much the owners of these pets loved them, and how much they would want their pet rescued and taken care of. One woman brought the pets of her friend who was killed home with her and found great comfort in having them there - a way to connect with the loving energy of her friend.
